Rockridge
This quaint neighborhood which borders Oakland and Berkeley, offers old world European charm with its boutiques, markets and gourmet restaurants all conveniently located around a central BART station. This is one of most desirable neighborhoods in the East Bay with its beautiful craftsman homes, sunlit porches and mature landscape.
Crocker Highlands & Oakmore
The charming community offers many sought after features including quaint tree-lined streets, a variety of custom homes from the 20s, 30s and 40s, and easy access to freeways and BART. It is conveniently located within minutes of Lakeshore shopping, Glenview and Montclair Village.
Lake Merritt
Lake Merritt is a beautiful oasis in the midst of Oakland's downtown. A three mile path rounds the lake, perfect for a jog, bike or simply a stroll at dusk. At the East end of the lake, the Grand and Lakeshore Avenue areas come alive with solid restaurants, longtime bars, jazz clubs and the historic Grand Lake Theatre. On Saturdays you'll find the farmer's market at the foot of Grand Avenue under 580.
Piedmont Avenue
Piedmont Ave, plain and simple, is down-to-earth. Its restaurants are comfortable without wavering from the great cuisine Bay Area residents have come to expect. The street provides great shopping options, from consignment stores to quaint boutiques. Piedmont Ave beckons a stroll. The Piedmont Theatre, Fenton's ice cream and Gaylord's coffee are always popular draws after a good meal.
Maxwell Park
This district is in the most unlikely spot. Just north of Mills College, Maxwell Park is a modest community of many well-maintained starter homes. Storybook homes sprinkle this up and coming neighborhood. It is easy to access from 580.
